Refund policy

last updated · 28 July 2026

verza charges in two ways: pay-per-call over x402 (USDC on Base), and an optional monthly subscription via Paystack. This policy is governed by South African law.

1. Pay-per-call (x402 / USDC)

Each paid call settles instantly and delivers a result in the same response. If a call fails to return a valid result due to a genuine fault on our side (a server error after payment was taken, or a settled payment for which no response was returned), email info@verza.dev with the transaction hash and we'll refund the USDC to the paying wallet within 5 business days.

If the call returned a valid result, even one you didn't expect (such as "invalid" for a badly formed number), the service was delivered as described and the fee is not refundable.

Blockchain settlement is generally irreversible. We refund from our own balance rather than reversing the original transaction.

2. Subscription (Paystack)

3. Suspension for breach

If we suspend or close an account for breaching our Terms of Service, no refund is issued for the current period.

4. How to request a refund

Email info@verza.dev with your wallet address or Paystack subscription email, and the transaction reference. We respond within 5 business days.

5. Governing law and complaints

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If we haven't resolved a complaint to your satisfaction within 15 business days of you raising it, you may escalate to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO): cgso.org.za, complaints@cgso.org.za, or 0860 000 272.

6. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects any change.
